A photo (or image) that is meaningful to me
Welcome to my new blog, where I will be discussing a photo from my second year of high school.
This photo represents my deep passion
for the horror genre and zombies. It serves as a reflection of my emotional
connection to the world of cinema and the powerful ability of art to evoke
emotions. To me, it symbolizes the excitement and fascination I have for the
horror genre.
I find this photo intriguing as it combines two of my
greatest interests: art and horror films, allowing me to visually create a harmonious
blend of my preferences through drawing, something I have enjoyed since I was
young.
The story behind this photo dates back to my second year of high school, before the pandemic. In my art class, our teacher assigned us the task of creating a drawing of our choice. I decided to depict a zombie hand emerging from the ground, incorporating elements that I felt would complement the overall composition, such as a spider tattoo inspired by Spider-Man. After completing our drawings, the teacher instructed us to select different materials, as the next activity involved tattooing the drawing onto our forearms or another suitable location. It was an incredibly engaging, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Once I finished painting and attempted to add shading, I captured this photo.
Thank you for joining me in this blog. Until next time!
